We don't manufacture furniture — we craft it.
No factories. No shortcuts. Just skilled hands, honest materials, and furniture made to last a lifetime — built from scratch by master artisans from Rajasthan, in our Chennai workshop.

Rajasthani craft, rooted in Chennai
BawasWood was born from a simple belief: that furniture should be built, not assembled. Our master artisans carry generations of woodworking heritage from Rajasthan — the same hands that once carved havelis and temple doors now shape every piece we make.
From our workshop in Kalavakkam, Chennai, we craft each piece to order using organically sourced solid wood. Nothing leaves our hands until it's right — joinery tight, finish deep, and built to outlive trends and, we hope, us.

Joinery you can trust, finishes you can feel
Every piece is hand-built using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery — no flat-pack fittings, no compromises. The wood is seasoned, cut, shaped and finished by hand, then checked joint by joint before it ever leaves the workshop.
Honest wood, responsibly sourced
We work only in organically sourced solid timber — Teak, Sheesham, Acacia and Mango Wood — chosen for grain, strength and longevity. We source thoughtfully, season properly, and waste little.
Because it's real wood, every piece carries its own grain, knots and tone — not flaws, but the signature of a material that was once alive and will serve you for decades.

“When you buy from BawasWood, you're not buying a product off a shelf — you're commissioning a piece, made by people who care, from wood we'd put in our own homes. That's a promise I make on every order.”
