Yes. The photos on each listing are of real, finished works from our Chennai workshop. Solid wood means your piece will have its own unique grain and tone — we'll happily share extra photos on WhatsApp before you order.

Our workshop at No. 2, Rice Mill Road, Kalavakkam, Chennai is open Mon–Sat 9AM–7PM, and Sunday 10AM–4PM by appointment. Message us on WhatsApp to plan a visit and we'll have pieces ready for you to see.

No minimum. Whether it's a single bedside table or a full dining set, every order gets the same handcrafted attention.

We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, and net banking — all processed securely through Razorpay. For custom orders we share a payment link directly on WhatsApp.

Completely. Payments run through Razorpay's PCI-DSS-compliant gateway. We never see or store your card number, CVV or banking credentials — only a confirmation that payment succeeded.

Yes. Custom and built-from-scratch pieces begin with an advance to procure wood and start crafting, with the balance due before dispatch. The exact split is confirmed with you on WhatsApp before you pay.

All prices are shown in ₹ and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. No hidden costs — delivery, if chargeable, is shown clearly before you pay.

We deliver pan–South India — Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana — direct from our Chennai workshop. Delivering elsewhere? Message us for a freight quote.

Ready pieces dispatch in 3–5 working days; made-to-order pieces are crafted in 3–5 weeks; custom work takes 4–8 weeks. Transit then adds a few days depending on your region — full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Orders of ₹25,000 or more ship free anywhere in South India. Below that, delivery is charged at actuals based on distance and piece size, always shown upfront at checkout.

Within Chennai and most Tamil Nadu cities we offer white-glove delivery — we carry the piece in, place it, and assemble anything that ships flat. Elsewhere we deliver to your doorstep with clear assembly guidance.

Absolutely — that's the heart of what we do. Start from any listed work and change its dimensions, wood or finish, or build something entirely new. Pay an advance to begin; the balance is due on completion.

Yes. Send us a photo, sketch or even a rough idea on WhatsApp and our artisans will design it from scratch with you — sharing drawings and approvals before any wood is cut.

Typically 4–8 weeks depending on the wood, carving and finish. We confirm the timeline with you on WhatsApp before you pay the advance, and share progress photos as the piece comes together.

Of course. We work in solid Teak, Sheesham, Acacia and Mango Wood — no MDF or particle board, ever. We'll guide you on which suits your piece, budget and climate.

Every BawasWood piece carries a 5-year craftsmanship warranty from the date of delivery — no registration needed, your order is your proof.

It covers the craftsmanship we control: joinery, workshop-applied finish, structural integrity and the hardware we fit. It does not cover misuse, water damage, normal wear or natural wood movement — full details are in our Warranty Policy.

Message us on WhatsApp with your order ID and photos of the issue. We assess within 3–4 working days and, for covered claims, repair the piece in our workshop or replace it at no charge.

Furniture is personal, and so are we. WhatsApp lets us share designs, progress photos, approvals and payment links instantly — it's the fastest, most human way to get your piece exactly right.

We respond to WhatsApp messages within 1 hour during workshop hours (Mon–Sat 9AM–7PM, Sun 10AM–4PM). Outside those hours we'll reach you first thing the next working day.

Yes. Send us your order ID any time and we'll give you the current crafting stage, dispatch status and expected delivery — plus photos of your piece in progress.
