These terms govern your use of the BawasWood website and your purchase of our furniture. By browsing or ordering, you agree to what's set out here.

Use of This Website

This website is operated by BawasWood, Kalavakkam, Chennai. By accessing it you agree to use it lawfully and not to disrupt, copy or misuse any part of it. Product photographs show real completed works; natural wood means the piece you receive will have its own unique grain and tone.

We may update content, pricing and availability at any time without notice. We make every effort to keep information accurate but do not warrant that it is always error-free.

Purchase Agreement

  • Pricingall prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
  • Order confirmationan order is confirmed only once payment (or the agreed advance for custom work) is received
  • Custom advancescustom and built-from-scratch orders require an advance, with the balance due before dispatch
  • Made to ordermost pieces are crafted after you order; timelines are confirmed on WhatsApp

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in case of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or material unavailability, with a full refund of any amount paid.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the BawasWood name, logo, designs, photography, text and the look and feel of the site — is the property of BawasWood and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Our furniture designs and carvings are our original work.

You may not reproduce, distribute or use any of this material for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BawasWood's liability for any claim relating to a product or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage arising from misuse, improper placement or failure to follow care guidance.

Natural material
Solid wood is a living material. Variation in grain, colour, weight and slight movement over time are inherent characteristics and not grounds for a claim.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of this website or a purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
